ORCHID CULTURE MONTH

Orchids in taxonomic classification belongs to the family Orchidaceae. Phalaenopsis derived from Greek, namely plaenos which means "butterfly" and opsis, meaning "see".
In the taxonomy of plants according to Cronguis (1981) and Sukardi (1991) classification of orchids is as follows  :

GROWING CONDITIONS
Phalaenopsis amabilis orchid months or requiring optimum light intensity between 20% -50% with an optimum temperature between 180C - 290C, and humidity between 70% -80%.

GROWING MEDIA
Planting medium that can be used for orchids is coconut husk, root plate fern, moss and coconut fiber. PLANTING TECHNIQUES
